Think and Grow Rich - free ebook.

I am really absent-minded, we have it since a year, our own edition, with my original, pretty cover [(I am very humble :-0)] and I forgot to tell you about it. This is an evidence that I am not the marketing genius.
We have a free copy of Napoleon Hill Think and Grow Rich.
Perhaps the most famous self-help book of all time. Certainly amongst the most influential.
If you haven't read it, you really should to. It's yours for the taking for f-r-e-e. Just go here http://revoliton.co.uk and pick it up.

Law of Polarity! by Adam Khoo
I found this text in my emailbox and I thought it is interesting for everybody.
"This is known as the law of polarity.
For every north, there is a south. For every outside, there is an
inside, for every crisis, there is an opportunity and for every
heads, there is a tails. For every concave, there is a convex.
For everything that comes to an end, something new begins.
The meaning we choose to attach to an experience is the meaning we
create. When we interpret an experience as negative or bad, we will
get into a miserable state, take lousy actions (even inaction is a
form of lousy action) and produce negative results.
At the same time, when we interpret an experience as positive, we
get into resourceful states, take positive action, and eventually
create positive results.
This can be summarized in a formula that goes Event + Response =
Outcome. This wonderful formula is given by Jack Canfield
(Co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul).
Many people believe that it is the events around us that shape our
outcomes. They believe that people who are happier and more
successful just happen to experience better events in their lives?
You and I both know that this is totally untrue. It is not the
things that happen to us, but rather how we choose to respond to
happenings and external circumstances that ultimately shape our
outcomes.
As you well know, we cannot control every single thing that happens
to us, but we can control how we choose to respond to it.
For example, if you go sailing, you cannot control where the wind
is going to blow. You can complain and blame the wind all you want
but it is not going to be of any use.
However, you can control how you maneuver the sails, and that will
control the outcome of your boat's direction.
We have heard so many stories of people who were born with all
kinds of handicaps and despite all the odds stacked against them,
they managed to create a life most others can only dream about.
What we must understand is that all meaning is context dependant.
In other words, there is no meaning in life except the meaning we
choose to give it.
When we look at things (an experience, an incident, an event) from
one perspective, it may seem totally bad. However, when we change
the way we look at the same thing, i.e. from a different context,
the meaning completely changes.
It could become totally powerful for you.
You can also see that any experience in life carries with it
multiple meanings. Anything is life has the potential to be either
good/positive or bad/negative.
It depends on your perspective, the frame in which you are seeing
it from.
People who succeed and live fulfilling and enriching lives don't
experience better events, they just re-present things and respond
in a much more powerful way."
What do you think about his statement? Is this true or not?

Philip K. Dick and the Law of Attraction.
Philip K. Dick was a stupid man in some way. He was a genius, a visionary, a brilliant SF writer but alas he spent his whole life in near poverty. Alas he didn't see "the Secret", he didn't meet Bob Proctor and the other stars. And he was too lazy to read the bible of the millionaires "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. Am I ironic? Guess.

Part III - The History of The Law of Attraction by http://www.law-of-attraction-guide.com
Florence Scovel (1871 - 1940) was one of the first metaphysics teachers of this past century. In her book “The Game of Life and How to Play It”, she states “Most people consider life a battle, but it is not a battle, it is a game. It is a game, however, which cannot be played successfully without the knowledge of spiritual law, and the Old and the New Testaments give the rules of the game with wonderful clearness. Jesus Christ taught that it was a great game of Giving and Receiving.
Whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap." This means that whatever man sends out in word or deed, will return to him; what he gives, he will receive. If he gives hate, he will receive hate; if he gives love, he will receive love; if he gives criticism, he will receive criticism; if he lies he will be lied to; if he cheats he will be cheated. We are taught also, that the imaging faculty plays a leading part in the game of life……So we see, to play successfully the game of life, we must train the imaging faculty. A person with an imaging faculty trained to image only good, brings into his life "every righteous desire of his heart" - health, wealth, love, friends, perfect self-expression, his highest ideals.

Part II - History of the Law of Attraction
Of greater importance in the history of the Law of Attraction is the awakening of the awareness of ever larger groups of people in the last century or so. James Allen’s (1864-1912) best known work “As a Man Thinketh” is one of the most powerful books written on the Law of Attraction. It was written in the male genre and the prose and style of the time so it requires careful reading. The forward in the book states;…….to stimulate men and women to the discovery and perception of the truth that - they themselves are makers of themselves by virtue of the thoughts which they choose and encourage; that mind is the master-weaver, both of the inner garment of character and the outer garment of circumstance, and that, as they may have hitherto woven in ignorance and pain they may now weave in enlightenment and happiness.
Wallace D. Wattles (1860 – 1911) studied the various religious beliefs and philosophies of the world including those of Descartes, Spinoza, Leibnitz, Schopenhauer, Hegel, Swedenborg, Emerson, and others. He translated those studies into several books including “The Science of Getting Rich” In this book he builds upon the following statement – “There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.
I can form things in my thought, and by impressing my thoughts upon formless substance, can cause the thing I think about to be created. In the past 30 years, this book has been used as the basis to teach many people about the law of attraction, and was the inspiration for the movie, The Secret.

A Brief History of the Law of Attraction by By John Peace http://www.law-of-attraction-guide.com
How old is the Law of Attraction? When did the law of attraction start? It started with the creation of the universe and the creation of thought. The challenging question is, when did mankind first become aware of the law of attraction? The answer to that is unknown, although there is evidence to suggest that in recent history people knew about the law of attraction, at least six or 7000 years ago.
Although it is unclear as to how long ago the phrase “Law of Attraction” was first coined, there are early references to the Law of Attraction being in action. Buddha said “All that we are is the result of what we have thought." Buddha truly understood the law of attraction. This is a powerful statement. Not only do we create the material things in our lives by what we think, we also create ourselves. In the King James version of the Bible we see that Job may not have fully understood the workings of the love attraction, however like many people today he suffered the consequences of the law by not using it for his good. In Job 3: 25, it reads “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.” How many of us are creating what we do not desire in life? How many of us are setting ourselves up as victims because we do not understand or are not consciously using the Law?
